Johana enjoys long days at work, longer weekends exploring new cities, and hosting candlelit dinners in her home. With a degree in Communication & Advertising, her interest in human connection and lived experience can be seen in the friendships she cherishes and the jobs she dedicates time to.

As a kid, her interests in visual communication and storytelling started early. Often found writing on the walls and taking one too many photos of her favorite cakes. She was never bored and loved sharing her work with mom. Who, to this day, remains her favorite audience.

As the eldest daughter of immigrant parents, the standards were high, but Johana loves a challenge. Filed with gratitude for their love in her life, she hopes to return the utmost sincerity and care for marginalized groups and forgotten faces in society through creative collaboration.

Currently moonlighting as an assistant baker at Ben’s Bread, she spends most of her time recording people’s happiest moments in life and telling their story through imagery.
